1. No, because both parties need to know media IP of each other
    in order to know where to send audio. So routed mode is not enough
    and no Screen... option will help - if you read the manual, you will see
    it is for quite different purpose.

3. It depends how your engineers design your VoIP network.
    Usually, quality suffers because something is misdesigned/misconfigured/overloaded.
