Thank you for responding. Yes, I'm attempting to get ACD functionality. My problem is this: I receive this RouteRequest: RouteRequest|10.10.10.10:1720|9199_endp|257|88555|95495:dialedDigits=pepe:h323_ID; I Respond with this: rta drbunsen 9199_endp 257 & then I get these: ACF|10.10.10.10:1720|9199_endp|257|drbunsen:h323_ID|9549221072:dialedDigits=pepe:h323_ID|false; DCF|10.10.10.10|9199_endp|257|normalDrop; Notice how the ACF with the new routed alias (drbunsen) has dropped the destination number. Not quite sure where to go from here. -g I send a RouteToAlias command in respond to RouteRequest in this format: On Thu, 2004-01-29 at 04:29, Loic LE BEL wrote: > Hi Glen, > > The RouteToAlias command should give GnuGk the real target where the > call is to be routed to. > Thus your gateways don't need to be listed in VirtualQueueAliases > otherwise you will have RouteRequest messages again and again when > trying to route calls to them. > > Are you using this feature to achieve some ACD functionnality ? > If not, a good configuration of [RasSrv::GWPrefixes] should be enough to > make your call be routed to the right gateway considering their prefix. > > Maybe can you provide an example of what you are trying to do with the > VQueues for further help :-) > > Best regards > Loic > > > Glen wrote: > > >Good folk, > > > >I apparently don't understand VirtualQueues; if someone could verify or > >correct my understanding, I would appreciate it. > > > >If I pass a number with the prefix specified in VirtualQueuePrefixes, > >the status port will give me a RouteRequest message, & will expect a > >RouteToAlias command specifying the h323id of the actual gateway to be > >routed to. > > > >I assume that the h323id name of the destination gateway also has to be > >specified in VirtualQueueAliases. > > > >This does not seem to work.
