The Cisco ATA 186 is in a LAN behind a router but with all the necessary pinholes (as far as I understood, I need to forward ports 1717,1718,1719,1720,1721, right?). The ATA's local IP address is 10.2.3.1. The gatekeeper is running in my computer which is behind another LAN and all the necessary pinholes done in the router. My computer internal IP is 199.227.110.144
My gatekeeper config file is
[Gatekeeper::Main]
Fourtytwo=42
[GkStatus::Auth]
rule=allow
Name=OpenH323GK
In the ATA GkId field I have OpenH323GK. So, Andrey, I have the gatekeeper name set in both
gatekeeper.ini file and your ATA configuration.
But I did NOT get any RRQ message! (my router is forwarding all messages for ports 0 to 50000 to my computer where I have the gatekeeper).
Again, the only message that I get in the telnet window that I have connected to the gatekeeper is
GCF|10.2.3.1|4444:dialedDigits|unknown;
and when I ask for the statistics and registration history I get the following:

I tried to use the ATA with and without authentication and I always got the same result.
Do you have any other suggestion ?

make sure that in ATA the "gkid" is the same, as the gatekeeper ID. Otherwise GRQ will be OK, but not RRQ.
