I'm sure the ATA has the correct gatekeeper IP once I could check the gatekeeper logs and there is where I got the line
GCF|10.2.3.1|4444:dialedDigits|unknown;
and as far as I understood from the gnugk documentation it by default accepts calls from unregistered
endpoints.
Do you have any comments ?

it looks like the ata is not registered.
first make sure that the ata has the correct ip of your gatekeeper set in it for the line you are
using.
if that does not let it register, then you may try to select accept calls from unregistered
endpoints in your conf file.
