A Netmeeting on windows through a linux IPTables simple kind of config question that you've somehow made complicated...

Please understand when I say this. I have spent most of my day wading through a plethora of crap trying to find the one simple solution which is just slightly out of reach.

I am currently using Netmeeting 3.01 SP 2 (*the latest) on Windows98 (*Fully patched to the hilt)
Every feature of Netmeeting works properly except for the reception of audio and video from outside sources.

My Linux firewall is as follows...

Woody/Debian Linux I586 2.4.18-k6 -- Optimized for my 350 AMD K6-II

I am using IPTables v1.2.6a -- with a simple config created by Firestarter (0.8.2) --  Firewall Wizard
In this config I turned off all access rights from the internet to the Linux box for security purposes. However, I do use  IP Masquerading to forward all traffic from the internet to my internal LAN...

This works AWESOME except when it comes to the H.323 application by the name of Microsoft Netmeeting

I have installed the OpenH323 Gatekeeper v2.0.5 on the Linux system. I know that I need something to open the dynamically allocated ports that are called for by H.323 applications.

I have spent more than 6 hours of my day today attempting to find documentation in regular english that might explain to me how to setup the Open323H Gatekeeper software to simply connect one of my two machines on my LAN to a netmeeting call somewhere in the outside world and be able to both send and receive video.

My NetMeeting setup is as follows:

Under Tools/Options[General tab} I have clicked the Advanced Calling button and entered the following...

Gatekeeper       [ Internal LAN ip of my Linux box ]
Account Name [ me ]
Phone number [ 11101 ]

When I attempt to use this setup to access the gatekeeper NetMeeting gives me the error "The person you called is not registered with the gatekeeper"

..................
Can anyone give me some setup tips or possibly config options that I've missed in order to get this working?
Seems the simple options and simple problems always get overlooked.

Thanks,
