[Openh323gk-users] Citron's NAT?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

MensajeHi,

A new 2.0.2 feture was:

"Add Citron's NAT Technology that allows transparently penetrate NAT boxes.
Support multiple endpoints and calls concurrently."

Where can I find more about this? (If it's only the mail archive, at
least an approximate date would be a nice hint.) Is this "Citron-stuff"
the technology that allows GNUGK to proxy a call when *both*
endpoints are NAT'ed? (I mean, can GNUGK really do that?
docs/manual.html is not terribly clear on this issue, unfortunately.
Sorry, I'm new here.)

The manual.html says:

"ProxyForNAT=1
Default: 1

If yes, the gatekeeper will proxy for calls to which one of the endpoints participated is behind an
NAT box. [...]"

However, I found clues in the mail archive, that even if *both* endpoints
are behind NAT, they can talk.

Thanks very much,
Sz.
