Oh well. I am not sure my gnugk203 is 100% ok configured, but at least it works mostly as it is supposed to. The only prob I have with it is that though I and the other party (which is directly connected to the internet) are registered to the gatekeeper, she can call me, but I cannot call her. If I call her she gets the ring, she accepts the call and the call dies with a message to me that the other party cannot take the call right now :/ . I I have it installed on my linux firewall/router and I use it to connect from one of internal lan machines to the outside, or to allow someone from the outside to connect to me. Am still a bit clueless of what settings I should set for such a situation in gnugk, but did it by trial and error and beside the fact that I have to be the one called and that I cannot call, it works. All outgoing connections are allowed on my firewall and the incoming are ok since she can connect to my netmeeting with video and audio bothways (btw, both use NetMeeting). Sorry for the late answer but just now found time to do the diff and here are the results. The gnugk.ini is the working config for 203 and the complete.ini is the modified one with which the 205 starts: diff /etc/gnugk.ini /home/adrian/gnugk205/openh323gk/etc/complete.ini 20,21c20,21 < #Home=192.168.0.99 < #NetworkInterfaces=192.168.0.99/24,80.134.254.227/0 --- > #Home=195.71.129.69 > #NetworkInterfaces= 25c25 < #UseBroadcastListener=1 --- > #UseBroadcastListener=0 38,40c38,40 < UnicastRasPort=1719 < MulticastPort=1718 < MulticastGroup=192.168.0.41 --- > #UnicastRasPort=1719 > #MulticastPort=1718 > #MulticastGroup=224.0.1.41 42c42 < EndpointSignalPort=1721 --- > #EndpointSignalPort=1720 47a48 > #StatusWriteTimeout=5000 70c71,72 < Enable=1 --- > #Enable=1 > #InternalNetwork=10.0.1.0/255.255.255.0,127.0.0.0/8 113a116 > #OverwriteEPOnSameAddress=1 174c177 < --- > #Shutdown=disable Best regards, Adrian ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jan Willamowius" <jan@willamowius.de> To: <openh323gk-users@lists.sourceforge.net> Sent: Sunday, June 29, 2003 11:10 PM Subject: Re: [Openh323gk-users] GnuGk 2.0.5 released > There are no intended changes and of course thst shouldn't dump core. > Can you create diff with the old config file and trace down what causes the coredump ? > > > Did anything change in the config between 2.0.3 and this one? if I try to > > use it with my old gnugk.ini (which is a modified complete.ini version) from > > 2.0.3 it exits with a coredump.
