Tom, Once again you define a "prefix" of 555 (either in the gateway or the gatekeeper). All calls with destination digits beginning with 555 are directed to the gateway. Forget about aliases! If they exist they are used (mostly properly as more specific exceptions to the general rule of the prefix) and if they do not exist the prefix is used. } Thanks, for your clarification. Now, for part 2...Let's say I have a } prefix defined for gw1: 555. A user dials 5553232, the gateway doesn't } see an alias specifically for 5553232- this normally would generate } "user not found" error. How would I set it up so that the gatekeeper } passes the number to the gateway, even if it's not registered as an alias? If you're describing a direct call model the you need to configure your gateway to do this and it's quite outside of the scope of this list. If it's a gatekeeper routed call model then it works as described above (and in many previous posts). -Vance ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
