A quick google finds this: http://linux.maruhn.com/sec/sharefonts.html you should find something there that fits. Probably an rpm . fonts dont need compiling so it's just a case of checking they unpack to the right place (and reading the shareware licence). getting back to the point of the post , does gimp require this package to work correctly?
