Hi, gentoo devs have just realised sharefonts is incorrectly labelled public domain in thier package manager and is being installed without the user being aware of the licence. They intend removing it. http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218288 One package that seems to use it is gimp. on http://www.gimp.org/docs/userfaq.html it says > The base script-fu package makes extensive use of the > freefont package, and at least one font (AlfredDrake) > from the sharefont package. This seems pretty marginal usage. Can anyone advise if removing sharefonts will break fu or any other parts of gimp?
