When user switches the paint mode, he mostly does not be informed of this event. Yes, the shortcuts were the same for some modes using f.e. F2-behind, pressing F2 again switched to replace and so on. The mode "negative" switched the colors using the current brush, it is simple and gives the invert function a more flexible usage. pitty, U cannot try the TV Paint on Tux.
