But they can't license a product to me saying it's licensed under the GPL and then, in another part of the documentation _outside_ the license, place restrictions not mentioned in the GPL. This is at best contradicting. Also, I am quite sure that not everybody who contributed code to mysql is aware that the GPL is, in fact, not the whole license. That is, *iff* these are additional restrictions, which is a point of view not everybody needs to share.
