That's right.  I tried to track them down in this bug report:
  http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=70335

Thanks to the help of David Necas (Yeti), several of these bugs have
recently been fixed.  Even if we disagree about whether some of these
effects are undesirable or not.  :-)
