Well, I haven't dared touch configure.in any more until 1.2.3 has been released. Basically, I am waiting for Yosh to decide how to resolve the issue. As far as I am concerned it would be fine to temporarily comment out the problematic AM_GLIB_GNU_GETTEXT and PKG_CONFIG calls from configure.in for the release... and I think I have said so also on IRC and in email. --tml
