I haven't observed the problems cited by you or Marc. Interesting... I also use cvs.gimp.org, and... cvs.gnome.org has address 209.116.70.81 .... > I'm vaguely aware that there are a number of machines that share CVS load at gnome, but are they > dedicated to different regions of the globe (and is the UK/Western Europe machine "going/gone south")? It is almost impossible to serve different regions differently (how do you decide where one comes from), and I get the same problems wether I use a .com/.de domain (and a us/europeean ip address). However, if they load share (easy for www) then this could explain the wwwcvs problems. For cvs (write) access it is hardly possible. -- -----==- | ----==-- _ | ---==---(_)__ __ ____ __ Marc Lehmann +-- --==---/ / _ \/ // /\ \/ / pcg@xxxxxxxxxxxxx |e| -=====/_/_//_/\_,_/ /_/\_\ XX11-RIPE --+ The choice of a GNU generation | |
