Namespace problems??

On the US east coast, (NYC) "cvs.labs.redhat.com" resolves to IP address 199.183.24.238.
Pings are currently being blocked by "router.redhat.com" IP address 199.183.24.225.

The cvs repository I map to, cvs.gimp.org, is aliased to cvs.gnome.org and a quite
different IP address: 209.116.70.81. I haven't observed the problems cited by you or Marc.

as of 21:05 -05.00 (EDT)

These web pages are also served up from 209.116.70.81.

I'm vaguely aware that there are a number of machines that share CVS load at gnome, but are they
dedicated to different regions of the globe (and is the UK/Western Europe machine "going/gone south")?

Debugging the debugging tools continues...
