Norway doesn't have an official language, they got 2.> Yes, you are right, we are using two official written languages with minor differences, perhaps something like different versions of English, or may be like Swedish and Danish. When I started translation the general language code for Norwegian was "no". I therefore choosed this code.I have translated Help to Norwegian nynorsk, so the correct code is "nn". (There is no translaton for "nb").
It is also correct that "nb" and "nn" language codes should now be used instead of "no". (This is done in GIMP, see the share/local folder, and many other programs). For now the Norwegian users have to manually changes the name of the help folder from "no" to "nb" or "nn" depending of what language the computer is set to.To be correct the "no" tags in the help files should therefore be renamed to "nn". Is it possible to do this in a clever (automatic) way? I will be out of the translation "business" for a while, but will be back later if I have to do the renaming.Kolbjørn> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokm%C3%A5l> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nynorsk>> Daniel>> _______________________________________________> Gimp-docs mailing list> Gimp-docs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> https://lists.XCF.Berkeley.EDU/mailman/listinfo/gimp-docs>
