The slide (yes just one), from my presentation about GEGL and it's
history are available at http://pippin.gimp.org/lgm2006/ a tarball
containing a current checkout of portions of GEGL, as well as the
canvas/drawable from horizon http://pippin.gimp.org/horizon/ ,merged
together in a proof of concept that GEGL still is capable of processing
images.

In the process of preparing code for that simple demo, all of horizon
was geglified. Since horizon is a 8bpc application, the current
gegl-demo is also limited to this.

I'm currently postponing looking into integration of babl, and perhaps
making 32bit floating point RGBA the reference pixelformat for operation
implementations until after minimal recomputation based on Region of
Interest is working.
