There is no way gcc could ever be able to crash a computer. What you're
very likely seeing is an underlying hardware issue. Spurious memory
corruption (e.g., high load on the power supply, high temperature) can
lead to the WEIRDEST issues.

Especially when they seem to be semi-predictable like in your case
(works on Win10, does not on Win7) it can be very frustrating. BTDT.

I would suggest to check the RAM of the machine first (Memtest86) for a
couple of hours/days, then check the PSU, mainboard, CPU in that order.
