cross compiling for new system.

Subject: cross compiling for new system.

I have gcc-4.6.0 and binutils-2.21. I have cross compiled binutils buthave the code for my architecture present. The thing is I can't get thecompiler to find this new runtime linker. Are there special environmentvariables or switches that I would need to use the new ld, as, and ranlib?
