Initial Comment:
Some techie installed GAIM on my sister's computer in
Israel and now she claims she cannot change yahoo ids.
(She and my niece each have their own yahoo ids.) I
don't know how to operate GAIM. Please tell me how to
instruct her how to change yahoo ids. Thank you in
advance for your prompt response.

This bug is fixed in the most recent version of Gaim. If you are
not using the lastest version, please upgrade. If you are using
the latest version, please indicate so and reopen this bug.

Click the Tools->Accounts menu, and from the Accounts dialog
you can add, delete, edit, and sign on/off Yahoo accounts.

For multiple profiles, there is tools->account
options->[some yahoo account]->Activate Id...

However, we currently don't support multiple profiles on a
single account very well.

Each Separate login to yahoo should be a separate account.
you can change ids across the same account from the Account
Actions menu.
