Summary: Why doesn't the Gaim project accept donations?

Initial Comment:
There's no "Donate to this Project" link at the top
of the Gaim sf.net webpages, so I'm assuming that the
Gaim developers haven't opted-in for donations on the
project. Why not? I always donate a little bit of
cash to projects that I use every day, and I use Gaim
every day on multiple computers. I love it!
