Akira, is fontconfig-2.9.0 really not binary compatible with the fontconfig-2.8.0 ABI?  Was this library version bump accidental?  If so, you should really get out a 2.9.1 ASAP and pull this 2.9.0 verison.  If the binary incompatibility was intended, then this should've been released as 3.0 and called out in the release notes.  This is a huge issue for packagers and needs to be called out.

It seems to be binary compatible and there is no upstream soname bump according to http://upstream-tracker.org/versions/fontconfig.html

Thanks. I have this updated locally and it built fine. But it looks like we have a new library version so I'll need to revbump all ports using fontconfig, and I don't feel like figuring out that list of ports right now. I'll get to it within a few days though.
