Ugg. Ryan, don't push the 2.9.0 yet then. Let's sort out the version change. Akira, is fontconfig-2.9.0 really not binary compatible with the fontconfig-2.8.0 ABI? Was this library version bump accidental? If so, you should really get out a 2.9.1 ASAP and pull this 2.9.0 verison. If the binary incompatibility was intended, then this should've been released as 3.0 and called out in the release notes. This is a huge issue for packagers and needs to be called out.
