I can't seem to get F15 setup as backuppc client. I'm using the same method I used under F14 (ssh from user backuppc on server to root on client). Copied backupc dsa key from server to authorized_keys on client. Yes, permissions are correct. Testing from backuppc user on server, always asks for root pw. Doesn't accept public key. Saw some selinux messages (but I set selinux to permissive in /etc/sysconfig/selinux, so that shouldn't do anything, right?) Anyway, followed instructions: /sbin/restorecon -Rv /root/.ssh No more selinux messages logged. No relevant messages in /var/log/secure or /var/log/messages.
