Not actually a good example, as they're not the same thing: one is gnome-terminal and one is Terminal (not konsole, as Tom wrote) - the default Xfce terminal emulator. Launch them both and hit Help / About and you'll see. It would be nice to fix that particular situation somehow, but it's not an example for the above :) I do agree that may be a good way to look at it, though.
