My laptop is 1600x900 at 13" which is somewhere around 160ppi, but that
doesn't do anything for my desktop. The best you can get in current
desktop monitors is 1920x1080 at 21.5", which is only 102ppi. No-one
seems to sell 1920x1080 displays smaller than 21.5", or higher
resolution displays at that size or larger (any more). Your display -
which sounds rather like an IBM T210 or Dell P1130, yes? - hasn't been
available for rather a long time.
