Could you boot into runlevel 3 on your F11 install log in as root and
create an xorg.conf by running 'Xorg -configure'. Create a live usb with
F12 or Rawhide ( or install F12 to another HD or partition ) and then
copy the xorg.conf.new to /etc/X11/xorg.conf on the live usb and see if
that works?

If it does you should be able to create the xorg.conf file on your F11
installtion save the file in /etc/X11/ and upgrade as a potential
workaround until this issue gets resolved..
