I guess that was the time of the last successful install of > the drivers. Yeah, that sounds relevant. Probably the driver you have installed just won't work with Rawhide's X.org. You could see if there's a command you can use to try and force the latest VirtualBox driver to be installed, or just live with vesa...as long as the driver's getting installed as part of VirtualBox and Rawhide is happily updating to screamingly bleeding-edge X.org releases, this kind of snafu is likely going to happen a bit frequently.
