I found a post on another forum on how to try and force Workstation to use ALSA instead of OSS. I did the following: installed the alsa-oss plugin (64-bit) updated /etc/vmware/config with the line: preload = "/usr/lib64/libaoss.so Didn't work. Any other ideas on how to make applications that demand using OSS be able to output sound on F11? Cheers, Chris -- ============================= "You see things as they are and ask, 'Why?'
