  hmmmm ... i'm not *entirely* convinced that that's the same issue.
IIRC, i've run into that behaviour and the symptom was that you
couldn't continue the install after a media check *no matter how long
you waited* as opposed to just waiting long enough. perhaps i'm wrong.
in any event, i'll be dee-lighted to test the final release.
