This is a longstanding (and very annoying) bug in anaconda's CD
detection code:

Bug 375011 - Can't continue installation after running media check

It was caused by a behavior change in the kernel SCSI/CD-ROM layers
sometime during F9 development, if memory serves. This bug affected all
CD/DVD images produced between F9 Final and F10 Preview.

It was finally fixed last week. Should work in current rawhide boot.iso
images and F10 Final images. Yay!
