i've noticed this before with earlier fedoras -- after i choose to verify the install media (in this case, an f10 preview x86_64 dvd), the verification completes and the DVD is ejected. i push it back in, and hit "OK" to continue but apparently, the DVD hasn't had time to spin up so i'm told that the install media can't be found and the DVD is ejected. again. i push it in again, wait a few seconds, "OK", same error. i push it back in and now wait over 10 seconds for the DVD drive to finally regain its sanity and figure it that, yes, it really does have a fedora DVD and -- finally -- i can press "OK" and the install continues. is there no way to tweak the install to be smart enough to figure out that, if the drive hasn't spun up yet, it should just hang on for a few seconds until that's happened? rday -- ======================================================================== Robert P.
