The problem is that plymouth gets confused by some combinations for
console=.....


Oh good. I'm glad to have an excuse to <plonk> it. I'm very happy with the existing wheel, I don't need a new one:-)

I don't like the look of those deps, but my inspection of the code's already suggested mkinitrd should function without it.
