Fair request, I was in a rush and didn't have the info before me. xine's not likely relevant to the thread. It seems that the above actions cleared this too.

The commandline is this:
time (yes '' | yum --disablerepo=rawhide* upgrade --exclude=*.i386) 2>&1 | tee /tmp/yum-log

The change is the addition of "--exclude=*.i386."


if you run:

yum --skip-broken ...

does it work?

Yes. I like it so well that I added skip_broken=1 to yum.conf.

Might I mention that skip_broken isn't mentioned in yum.conf(5)?

It's just taken 6m51.780s to download and install 14 packages amounting to 32 Mbytes.
