Is it really /that/ central? Any .NET users will have serious issues with
the applications themselves anyway, methinks.

Just looked at mono-core, it looks it is under every OSI-approved license
there is... if it was just GPL,if MSFT or the devil himself donates code,
the result can be distributed freely with no strange strings attached.

So it comes down to the exact licenses...
