How can you infringe on something you've never seen. If that was the
case, any big company could happily claim that some of the methods in Qt
are rip offs of (say) MS Foundation Classes as they do the same job.
If I have a patent on the wheel, and then you invent the wheel, and I
sue you, I will succeed and then you will believe.
It's not about copying the idea, but who made the invention first.
And if two people did (think Charles Martin Hall and Paul Louis
Toussaint Héroult), these days it comes down to who files first.
