I would prefer

root:           :include: /etc/mail/rootalias

or maybe

root:           :include: /etc/sysconfig/rootalias

(and things like a silent skip if that alias is already defined) but
we are arguing here about details of an implementation.

I think that there is a general agreement that something of that
sort would be highly desirable.  Should there be a bugzilla RFE for
that?
