Is there a way to setup hostname during system installation? If not, why this basic functionality has been dropped or hidden? I found this bug report but it is still in NEW state: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=856456 . One more, question related to setting up hostname in Fedora 18. What is a RH approved way of setting this in Fedora 18? There is hostname command, hostnamectl command, /etc/hostname file more files in etc related to host name and it could be set in GNOME prefs. No one seems to work reliably so pleas tell me one authorized and final way of doing this.
