My name is Matthew Wilmott, I'm rapidly approaching 30 and live near Sydney Australia. I am a ProdOps Linux SME for a large Australian financial firm. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have been using Linux for more than 10 years. I currently hold an RHCSA and RHCE for RHEL6. Im looking to complete my RHCA over the next 18 months. I have written a number of commercial programs in C/C++, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby and numerous other scripts/languages over the years.
I wish to increase my involvement in the RHEL/Fedora ecosystem. I am however quite time poor as I travel more than 2 hrs each way to my day job. I hope to be able to begin triaging bugs in my spare time before actively looking to contribute code to actual projects.
