Comment:

 So the ticket stalled, but the work got done: Josef wrote up several tests
 and we added them to the F17 matrix with positive results, F17 is clearly
 the best-behaving release yet so far as USB writing is concerned. For the
 record, the tests created are:

  * https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_USB_stick_Live_litd
  * https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_USB_stick_Live_luc
  * https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_USB_stick_Live_dd
  * https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_USB_stick_DVD_litd
  * https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_USB_stick_DVD_dd

 Thanks Josef!
