Ubuntu has a routine that builds the grub2 config file by searching the machine for bootable operating systems. Booting Ubuntu recovery brings up a menu which includes rebuilding the grub files. I keep Ubuntu on a partition in my office machine and let it do the grubby lifting. It locates about a dozen boot targets and puts them in the boot menu. I have learned to do it this way so that a failed install of foo.bar Linux will not leave the machine unbootable. -- Chuck Forsberg WA7KGX N2469R caf@xxxxxxxx www.omen.com Developer of Industrial ZMODEM(Tm) for Embedded Applications Omen Technology Inc "The High Reliability Software" 10255 NW Old Cornelius Pass Portland OR 97231 503-614-0430 -- test mailing list test@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
