A likely workaround for this one is to blacklist 'microcode' module.
Just add a suitable file with a 'blacklist microcode' line in it in
/etc/modprobe.d/.  OTOH I am somewhat surprised that
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=690928
is still sitting as NEW.  This is after all a failure to boot.

That smells like problems with some file system.
