Sorry I don't know if here is the right place... I'm going through the guide https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/package-maintainers/Packaging_Tutorial_GNU_Hello/ and get stuck with this error. I'm using f37 and copy-paste the complete spec file from the tutorial. I got log like this

/builddir/build/BUILD/hello-2.10/build-aux/missing: line 81: makeinfo: command not found
WARNING: 'makeinfo' is missing on your system.
          You should only need it if you modified a '.texi' file, or
          any other file indirectly affecting the aspect of the manual.
          You might want to install the Texinfo package:
          <http://www.gnu.org/software/texinfo/>
          The spurious makeinfo call might also be the consequence of
          using a buggy 'make' (AIX, DU, IRIX), in which case you might
          want to install GNU make:
          <http://www.gnu.org/software/make/>

Looks like this issue:

https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/package-maintainer-docs/issue/97

Which we had to close because we could not reproduce it. I will take a look later. In the meantime, if you have more information you can add about your case, please add them to the issue.
Here is my attempt to reproduce the issue:
https://pagure.io/fedora-docs/package-maintainer-docs/issue/97#comment-857361

No luck, the build went just fine.
Betty, if you have a reproducer, please comment in the issue with more details.
