Thanks for looking at the spec file.
I did not yet pay much attention to the Obsoletes/Provides. It was added in the
first version by Orion, so maybe he wishes to comment?

As I understand it, according to upstream this package will replace grib_api,
and it has some compatibility to it.

I have no overview of what these minor changes are, but at least the library
name itself is totally different, so depending packages will never build "as
is" against this new library.
I have no problem to remove the provides tag.

Also thanks for pointing out the missing %post / %postun sections. I'll add
them in the next version.
