Ok, the bundled libcrcutil is definitely the elephant in the room.  My original
plan was to just bundle it as per
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Bundling_and_Duplication_of_system_libraries.

Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), crcutil can be built as a system
library, so I can't bundle it.  The problem is that upstream seems to be dead
(the last releases were on Google code), and, even worse, I can't seem to get
the library to build at all.

If I could get the code to build as a system library, I'd happily package it,
but I'm not sure what to do at this point.  Any ideas?
