https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=996618 Bug ID: 996618 Summary: Review Request: rubygem-ancestry - Organize ActiveRecord model into a tree structure Product: Fedora Version: rawhide Component: Package Review Severity: medium Priority: medium Assignee: nobody@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Reporter: msuchy@xxxxxxxxxx QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: notting@xxxxxxxxxx, package-review@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Spec URL: http://miroslav.suchy.cz/fedora/rubygem-ancestry/rubygem-ancestry.spec SRPM URL: http://miroslav.suchy.cz/fedora/rubygem-ancestry/rubygem-ancestry-2.0.0-4.fc19.src.rpm Description: Ancestry allows the records of a ActiveRecord model to be organized in a tree structure, using a single, intuitively formatted database column. It exposes all the standard tree structure relations (ancestors, parent, root, children, siblings, descendants) and all of them can be fetched in a single sql query. Additional features are named_scopes, integrity checking, integrity restoration, arrangement of (sub)tree into hashes and different strategies for dealing with orphaned records.
