Hi:

Final new topic for today.

Did we manage to come up with any desktop themes? If not, we should still
do something distinctive, and again I suggest the "Caledonia" themes that
are available on kdelook.org

I posted another request for help on the Design list yesterday, a little interest back but not much [1].

We are using Oxygen as the default KDE theme until something better gets packaged (such as Caledonia - which I have been using here for quite some time now ;)

We need more packagers - Orcan and Anthony Green have recently orphaned most of their audio packages which I have picked up. I would really like some back-up in this area. Packaging the theme is a good a start as any for those wanting to get sponsored...

We desperately need wallpapers and KDE splash themes. Please follow the link on the designs list as they have more expertise in this area and would should try and enlist there help... I have copied the Beefy Miracle theme into git [2] and changed all references to Fedora Jam. Traversing the filelist you can see what makes up a KDE theme - we will reference the fedora-jam-backgrounds package for the wallpapers. At the moment this contains only a lame image of a wave file [3]. We can do better than this - it is just a placeholder
