Actually, it's not. I think I would probably go for "fuse-encfs", since I would associate it with fuse. Admittedly I'm not Joe Inexperienced User, but I don't think that makes it invalid.

Also is there a namespace issue here? Do any of the fuse FS modules have the same names as real (non-userspace) filesystem drivers/managers/tools, or the potential to do so? If so, that could be confusing at least.

I would just add a "Provides:" if you think it's really necessary (and it doesn't conflict with anything else), but I wouldn't rename the packages.
