The psycopg2 package doesn't conflict with psycopg as the names have
changed. Additionally, psycopg2 provides a backwards compatibility
module. I'm not sure how complete the back-compat is and am simply
waiting for psycopg2 to get out of beta before packaging it. Due to the
upstream name change, there are some minor administrative questions
about packaging the new package as well as determining how to deal with
backwards compatibility. It's on my list, just not terribly high
priority until psycopg2 is out of beta.
